Vitamin Injections in Rochdale
Vitamin B12, C, D and Biotin injections, administered by an NMC-registered nurse in a clinical setting. Quick appointments, proper screening, and honest advice on whether an injection is right for you.
Why a nurse matters
Administered properly, or not at all
Vitamin injections are widely available, from salons to gyms, but they are still injections, and who administers them matters. At North Glow, every vitamin injection is delivered by Katie, an NMC-registered nurse, after a short screening consultation covering your health, medications and suitability. If an injection is not appropriate for you, we will say so and explain why.

Every appointment is carried out by Katie, a Registered Practice Nurse and NMC registrant, who is also Immunisations and Vaccinations Lead and Infection Prevention and Control Lead at her practice. You will never be treated by anyone else.
-
Yes. Every new client completes a short health screening and consultation before any injection. This is built into your first appointment and covers medical history, current medications and suitability.
-
Most vitamin appointments take around fifteen minutes including screening. Your first visit takes a little longer.
-
Vitamin injections are given into the muscle of the upper arm or buttock using a fine needle. Most clients describe a brief sting and mild ache afterwards.
-
It depends on the injection and your reason for having it. B12 is commonly given as a loading course followed by top-ups; Biotin is usually taken as a regular course. Katie will recommend a schedule at your consultation.
-
Injections bypass the digestive system, which matters most for people with absorption issues, restricted diets or conditions affecting uptake. For many people oral supplements are perfectly adequate, and Katie will tell you honestly if that is the case.
-
Not necessarily, but if you have symptoms of deficiency the right first step is a blood test with your GP. Katie will advise if she thinks you should be tested before proceeding.
-
This is assessed individually at consultation. Some options are unsuitable, so please mention it when you book.
-
Your full medical history and current medications are reviewed at screening. Bring a list, or a photo of your prescription, to your first appointment.
-
No. You can return to normal activities immediately. Mild tenderness at the injection site is normal for a day or so.
-
All products are sourced from licensed UK pharmacies, administered by a registered nurse using aseptic non-touch technique, and North Glow is fully insured.
