Every lip treatment starts with a consultation

Lips are the most visible treatment we offer, and the easiest to get wrong in the wrong hands. Your free one-to-one consultation with Katie, an NMC-registered nurse, covers the shape you want, what suits your facial proportions, and the realistic path to get there. Sometimes that means building volume over two visits rather than one. If we think a request will not suit you, we will tell you honestly.

What to expect

We use premium hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, a naturally occurring substance your body breaks down over time. Numbing cream is applied first, and the treatment itself takes around 30-45 minutes. Expect some swelling and possible light bruising for a few days, with the true result visible at around two weeks, when we offer a review appointment. Results typically last 6-12 months depending on the product, your metabolism and lifestyle.

Techniques

Classic and Russian Lips techniques

Katie is trained in both classic lip augmentation and the advanced Russian Lips technique, which builds height and a defined, doll-like shape with a flatter profile, rather than forward projection.

Which technique suits you depends on your natural lip shape and the look you want, and both options are discussed at consultation.

  • Numbing cream is applied before treatment and most clients find it far more comfortable than expected. Some pressure and a mild sting is normal.

  • Swelling peaks in the first 24-48 hours and settles within a week. Your lips will look bigger immediately after treatment than the final result. Judge nothing until two weeks.

  • Typically 6-12 months. Touch-up appointments maintain your result without starting from scratch.

  • Hyaluronic acid fillers are dissolvable, which is one of the reasons we use them. In the rare event of a problem, Katie is trained in complications management and dissolving protocols.

  • Yes, and most of our clients ask for exactly that. Half a millilitre placed well is often all it takes.
